First remove teams you cannot select in this mode
Open the intended cup before deciding which national team to use. In the recorded Android World Cup route, the team list contains available countries and padlocked tiles. Brazil is selected and the following screen offers Alisson. Your practical shortlist is the selection that your current account and mode actually offer, not a list of real-world football favourites.
If your preferred tile is locked, choose another available option to start playing, or leave the selection to work on your collection. The padlock alone does not tell you a purchase price, minimum card rating or guaranteed target pack.

Compare the footballer, not just the country name
In Local Match, Germany with Manuel N. and Norway with Erling H. are separate country-and-card selections. The cards show 83 / GK and 94 / ST respectively. Read the actual name beneath the selected flag before deciding that you have picked a particular footballer.
The position labels belong to the cards; they are not a reason to assume a conventional eleven-player formation. This local setup sends one footballer from each side into the match. The same screen does not supply a speed, shooting-power or win-chance formula for the printed numbers.

Use the result to reject a guarantee, not to invent another ranking
The subsequent match ends 4–2 with Germany WINS, and the HUD still names Manuel N. and Erling H. This is an example in which the side with the lower displayed card number wins. It is enough to reject treating the higher number as an automatic result.
It does not prove that Germany is stronger than Norway, that Manuel N. is the best card, or that card numbers have no effect. The recording does not reveal both human inputs or isolate the other influences on the result. Do not reverse the ranking just because this one score goes the other way.

Make a choice for your next match
The following is a practical decision method, not a tested card-balance formula. Use availability to narrow the options, then use your own handling experience to choose what to try. If you have no experience with any of the available cards, starting a short practice match is more useful than waiting for a supposed guaranteed winner.
- Pick the mode you intend to play.
- Confirm the team is selectable and read the offered footballer.
- Choose a familiar option or make one deliberate practice choice.
- After the match, note the mode, player and what you struggled with before changing the card.
| Your situation | Next choice |
|---|---|
| You want to enter a particular cup | Choose from its available team tiles, then inspect the offered player. |
| You want to try a newly owned footballer | Match the name and country from MY PLAYERS to the selection screen. |
| You want to repeat a run with less uncertainty | Use a choice whose aiming and movement you already understand. |
| Two cards are unfamiliar | Try one, note the result and handling, then compare the other under similar conditions. |
Keep your own comparison fair enough to be useful
Change one choice at a time where you can, and keep the mode and other conditions similar. A loss caused by missed control inputs is not a clean measurement of the card. Use repeated experience to decide what suits you; do not present a single score as a universal ranking.
MY PLAYERS can help distinguish experience from an untried card. The recorded owned list shows Ousmane D. and Neymar with played:0 before their local match. Zero recorded wins for an unplayed card is not a losing record. This video does not show a post-match visit to that list, so no local-counter update rule is inferred.
